Guided Runs

Crossing the Alps just south of LeogangProfessional guides will lead you through a network of secret breathtaking trails, many not shown on any official map. Half- and full-day guided tours offer stunning vistas, often breaks at cool mountain-hut restaurants and quiet single-track. There’s a maximum group size of 10. Varying levels of difficulty will be offered depending on the number of registrations.

Of course, you can run daily on your own from your door into the valley and mountains.

Here are some sample guided runs:

Pinzgau Run

We transfer to the beautiful lakeside town of Zell am See and take a cable car more than 10,000 feet up the Schmitten Mountain. We then run the Pinzgauer Hiking Route to the Schattberg Mountain. The Pinzgau Hiking Route is one of the most beautiful high trails in the eastern Alps, serving up exhilarating views of the ice-covered peaks of the Hohe Tauern Mountains. Along the entire length of this tour, the Salzach River Valley lies some 6,200 feet below your feet. Towering skywards: such famous mountains as the Grossglockner, the Kitzsteinhorn, the Granatspitze, the Sonnblick and the Grossvenediger.
  • Distance: about 12 miles
  • Vertical climb: 2,600 feet
  • Fitness level: 4 of 5
  • Level of difficulty: 3 of 5
  • Expected duration: 3-5 hours
  • Additional costs: approximately €35-45 for transfer and lift depending on number of participants

Asitz Run

We take the cable car to the top of the Asitz and enjoy a panorama that guides us the whole way. We finish again at Asitz top station and take the cable car back to the valley station. About 7.5 miles with 2,500 feet of climbing.

Additional costs: €15 for lift ticket

Ramseider Circuit

This tour will lead us to the foot of the highest peak of the mountain range Steinernen Meer. It also offers the possibility to run along one of the most beautiful single-track that this area offers.

From Bikepark Leogang, we run through Saalfelden towards Maria Alm. In Maria Alm we follow the signs to the Gasthof Kronreith, a small inn where weíll relax and get

a snack at 3,200 feet. We turn to the right and follow the red signs of the Pinzgau Mountain Bike Trail towards Saalfelden. After a steep ascent through the woods, we reach an altitude of 4,000 feet. We continue toward the start of the single-track, but only after we climb about 160 vertical feet uphill. Now we turn to the left and run super single-track all the way back to Saalfelden. From here on we take the same way back home.
